Imagine not having a restaurant for your national cuisine in Los Angeles? We didn’t think it was possible, but it turns out that Dominican Americans in L.A. do not currently have a restaurant that represents their foods. But that hasn’t stopped this small Latin subgroup (Dominicans account for less than half-a-percent of the total Latino population in L.A. County) from building a community here using Instagram.
